Multiskill Technician

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating and performing electrical, mechanical and communications repair and maintenance as needed, performing HCP measurement duties including tank gauging, meter proving and sampling. One call response and management assist and oversee pipeline construction and maintenance actives as needed.” Must be willing and able to work in inclement weather conditions.

The Multiskill Technician typically works an eight hour shift, Monday-Friday. The Multiskill Tech will be on call for Emergency call 24 hours a day Monday – Friday, this includes emergency and regular one calls and operational issues and will have Emergency calls every third weekend, and all holidays. Multiskill technicians may be required to provide relief to other multiskill operators in their work area. The Technician is also required to respond to all Areal Patrol Report findings and must document appropriately.

• Ability to operate hand tools or other pipeline equipment to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Safe driving skills, a valid driver's license,
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and DOT motor carrier regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Assisting in the construction,, operations, maintenance and repairs of pipelines and associated facilities and equipment;
• Moving/removing product or water using a variety of methods;
• Read and understand station flow and pipeline alignment drawings;
• Setting up equipment and pipeline for inspection, testing, and measurement purposes;
• Responsible for the accurate measurement and sampling of various crude oils, products, and natural gas liquids;
• Perform various mathematical calculations associated with over/short reconciliation;
• Perform batch changing and meter proving and calibrations.
